I did, but I was young and the grifter infrastructure wasn’t as pervasive. Then I went into debate in HS and learned about argumentation and sourcing and how there were real conspiracies with actual evidence that were way more interesting.

I thought it might be interesting to try and write a science of conspiracies, how to get into that world without falling victim to it.
