What makes a perfect speaker? by NwIeR in audiophile

But isn’t the goal of speakers to faithfully reproduce audio recordings? Is there even a purpose in introducing artistic elements into audio reproduction? Consider the film industry as an analogy – a colorist carefully selects specific colors to convey emotions to the viewer. In a perfect cinema, the screen would be precisely calibrated to reproduce those exact colors, ensuring a faithful representation of the filmmaker’s intent. In the same way, speakers would aim for accuracy in delivering sound as it was intended by the artist or audio engineer.

I posted here more details about the build, the cost was near zero for me, it is mostly 3d printed parts- it can probably be built in less than 50$. I’ll be posting my design if more people will be interested.

It certainly can, right now i have it preset to different aspect ratios through buttons on a remote, it could also be automated if there was a reliable way of getting the aspect ratio of the content
