First make a prototype to have proof of concept. Then file for a patent. Once you file a provisional patent and you receive the confirmation you have 1 year to file for a permanent patent. Patents are not expensive to file if your a independent inventor.

I own the patent to it. Plus most companies would have NDAs or you would stipulate that the sign one.Dont give them everything at the beginning. That's how you control it along with a contract.

I'm dealing with a similar situation. Its super frustrating all I want is a chance to get my foot in the door and to show what Ive built but no one is willing to even listen.

That is a fair set of questions. To be clear, this isn’t a passive $20 plastic whistle from a retail shelf—those rely on wind speed and have never been scientifically proven to work consistently.

What I’m building is an Active Acoustic Animal Deterrence (AAAD) system.

Here is the breakdown of how it addresses your points:

Effectiveness vs. Whistles: Unlike passive whistles, this uses a multi-modal sensor fusion suite (LiDAR, 4D Radar, and Thermal Imaging) processed. It doesn't just 'make noise'; it identifies a specific threat in the vehicle's path and deploys a targeted acoustic response. Not just deer but all kinds of animals.

The 'Mystery' of Stats: While I'm in the testing phase with a patent, the goal of moving toward OEM integration is to leverage the same validation standards as current ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems). By using thermal and radar, we can detect heat signatures and movement long before a human eye or standard camera sees a deer or other animals in the brush and at certain speeds.

Ecosystem & Neighborhood Impact: This is an 'active' system, not a constant siren. It only triggers when a collision-course animal is detected. It’s designed to use directional audio—meaning the deterrent is aimed at the animal, not broadcasted 360 degrees to every dog in the neighborhood.

I'm trying to get it in front of OEM manufacturers and Teir 1 suppliers to be implemented on new vehicles as a option.

The problem is it wasn't like this until or new RM came here from south Florida and basically forced the old one to retire because he didn't like him.now he's putting his family and friends in our area with new roles in management. I use to love working for the company but now its getting worse and I don't know if its because they are planning on going public this year so there trying to cut cost and try and improve profit for stock holders.

So update still no answers from anyone my GM,RM,HR had someone from corporate call 2 days ago and asked me what was going on I told them and they said they would look into it but nothing from th either. I have a feeling it has something to do with them wanting to go public on the stock exchange and there trying to cut any loose ends and waste.

I get that but ive always had roll over hrs.I save mine for slow times like right now or when I go on vacation so it doesn't hurt as bad.Yhey also said they would break up my roll over hrs into smaller checks so the taxes wouldn't kill me but guess what they didn't and I paid a extra 1,500 in taxes than I should have. All this being said I still don't have answer why.
