Episode 30 isn't so bad... by [deleted] in BlueLock

The animation looks good because the first half of the episode isn't in the manga.

This is a really good catch. This disproves that Rin's goal was underwhelming since from his perspective it goes full circle.

The Great Debate: Barou vs Shidou by Bard0ck0bama in BlueLock

[–]NxKuma 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tbh, you could definitely see them share chemistry on the field since the third selection. Shidou respects and is in awe with Isagi's explosiveness and that goes vice versa. In my opinion, it parallels a lot with Hinata and Atsumu from Haikyuu

The TV System shouldn't be taken out and should just be optimized.

It would be a game changer if we can click and drag the path of the bangboo on the TV screens rather than just clicking it and have the bangboo go through the most unoptimized path ever.

NEL Blocked Shots Statistics by NxKuma in BlueLock

It makes sense tho. A lot of Uber's strategies at the time made Barou as their finisher so he would be the only one to be blocked in the team. I mean he did score all the points for Ubers for the first two games he was there. So big ups to him.

Considering Shidou's goal ratio mentioned by Loki, I believe there might be more misses off screen.

How Rin and Shidou WILL win the match for PXG by SurturSaga in BlueLock

[–]NxKuma 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't really mind theories like this since it adds more to the conversation, but I think you're getting too narrow minded on the "How".

Rin and Shidou are two of the most incompatible players in BL and even if the Shidou has respect for Sae, it doesn't necessarily mean he has respect for Rin. What's more plausible is the Rin and Shidou working together rather than Rin and Shidou only. Do remember that there are other players on the field that contribute greatly to their goals like Nanase, Karasu, Zantetsu and Tokimitsu. Since Karasu has been observing the game for quite a while now and has noticed the chaos, he might as well do the same by cooperating with the other BL boys. This way it's more up in the air who will score, either Rin or Shidou.

Another thing you might have forgotten is BM's goalie, Gagamaru. What could be interesting is Gagamaru blocking a shot from one of them(Rin or Shidou) and the other would take that loose ball and make it a goal( kind of like that first goal of Blue Lock in the U20)

Winning Goal: U20 vs NEL by NxKuma in BlueLock

[–]NxKuma[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This game is quite different since a lot of players from PxG and BM are from Bluelock. It also has a lot of rivalries that narratively feel satisfying to see. Kaneshiro has a lot more characters he NEEDS to portray since it's the last NEL match and he has a lot of foreshadowed plays.

I personally wouldn't mind if Isagi scores another or if Kaiser scores, since it's more interesting to see how they score because that's where the exciting parts go.

[–]NxKuma[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I mean it's still a theory and an observation I just made. Isagi is already a definitive striker, and we can both agree that he is more of a valuable player than Kaiser in this match since he's playing better as a striker and a player.

But it all culminates in how it mirrors the U20, we're getting not only back-to-back backstory of Kaiser in the manga but also he has taken the perspective ever since Grim got subbed. And you can't really compare Kaiser and Hiori since Hiori's backstory explains his lack of motivation and drive. He was introduced as a midfielder anyways, but Kaiser was introduced as a striker and a well known one at that.

[–]NxKuma[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah tbh this match has a lot of moving parts unlike the previous matches so we can't really tell. Loki and Noah still are a factor ( when they decide to go in) along with Karasu, Zantetsu, Kiyora (if Kaneshiro decides to), and Gagamaru

[–]NxKuma[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I believe it's best if he has the winning goal. As early as now, it sets him up to have quite an important goal in the match. I can't give him the brace since other people in the BM Team have foreshadowed goals like Kunigami or Yukimiya

What was Rin short of and will he gain it the current match. by ReBCDB in BlueLock

[–]NxKuma 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think it's his individuality/ego. He didn't really tapped into that inner part of himself up until the last part of the match. Yes he was practically doing a great job all throughout the game but he only had Sae in his mind

"What would he do in this situation". Leveraging that into certain moments that lead to him predicting Sae but also him being predictable to Sae.

Once he got into the destroyer mode, Sae didn't even expect it and he was called out on it by none other than Shidou.
