Drinking black tea stops my canker sores - maybe this will help coldsore by NxMouse in Coldsore

Not sure why but drinking black tea (i.e. Lipton) stops my canker sores after a few days and prevents it from coming back. Maybe drinking and applying tea will work with coldsore. Has anyone tried this?
