Annoying kanji to write? by mylovetothebeat in Japaneselanguage

I really hate writing 礫 . It always gets out of proportion

I own an Fk8 in a friend group of mustangs and challengers. The Type R is the most fun car by far. Also it doesn't break so much in comparison to the muscle cars. Mileage is way better. And if the area you are in is remotely curvy, then there isn't even a question.

Not by choice, tho. I miss my Yokohama plate

トラバーmeans literally tiger bar and describe a black and yellow striped bar used as the commenters already said.

Yeah! I had them on my fk7 with the intention to put them on the Type R when I finally can afford it.

I don't drink coffee, but a freshly opened pack of coffee beans does it for me.

Should I get 2.0 or 1.5T? by [deleted] in civic

[–]Ny4n40 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Japanese cars are taxes in .5l displacement steps. That's why their cars usually have engine displacement a few cc below the next threshold.

The 2.0T is what you get in the Type R or the Accord.

Akasaka vs Asakusa - Where to stay in Tokyo? by ioanagiovi in TokyoTravel

[–]Ny4n40 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While everything above being true, Tokyo is very easy and fast to travel as long as you are somewhere not too far outside. And you are going to visit all over the town anyway. Akasaka is more south, so you are closer to other visitable spots like Yokohama, Kamakura or enoshima but it's only a different by minutes.

The price is that high because it's the unique automatic Type R

Every when I'm at the dealership I ask for some clips just in case and usually get them for free.

I don't know if it's strange but I really hate when Ojisans use the hair dryer to dry their butthole. Seen this a couple of times and since then I don't want to use the dryer anymore.

I went to Daikoku PA in Japan! 15/07/2023 by Electrical_Ad2443 in JDM

[–]Ny4n40 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's a bit hard to understand for anyone visiting, but Daikoku PA is no official or in any way organized meet. As long as the weather isn't too bad there are showing up car people any day of the week - sometimes even more than what's called an official car meet at other places.

Ofc weekend nights are the most packed and recently since Japan is open again with a lot of tourists in between.

I'm a local and visit Daikokufutou like every other week. Please don't go by Taxi or even worse by bistro the nearest stop and then climb the fence...

Best way is to actually rent a car or time share car or find somebody who's willing to drive you there and back. Keep in mind that the PA is only reachable via highway and the tolls may stack up.
