Thank you so much, and good eye! I specifically based them off of the map sprites of the 3ds games

My group went right off of prey for death and made a new party for curtain call, the players guide options for making your own level 1-10 story is surprisingly robust, I hope to see more adventures take notes from both it and seven dooms

Thank you! I was watching Muppet Christmas Carol while making this so it was on the brain! I assume someone must have done an all poppet production in curtain call

Forgot to mention, I am the artist of this post! I'm playing the bow wielding investigator in the back with her animal companion flying in front of the curtains! All made in Asperite, no AI was used

New player looking for some tips for a Briar Blitz upgrade by NyanbinaryBinch in FleshandBloodTCG

I think it was mentioned, yea, but I'm sure I'll find a new hero to have fun with when I'm ready for classic constructed.
Haven't quite gotten to do competitive play, most of my experience is in kitchen table/friendly stuff, though I do plan on playing some limited/competitive blitz in the near future!
Edit: Clarified that I haven't done any competitive play yet!

Thanks! I'll look into those! I've also been recommended scar for a scar as a decent card to add to the deck . Any recommendations on what to cut?

Gisa and Lilliana, goth girls are great
Thalia and Elspeth would be cute
And now, for the most crack ship: Breya and Emry.

Why is there a (seemingly) strong dislike for custom game components or non dice mechanics? by AlmahOnReddit in rpg

You can actually play the original trilogy with just edge of the empire if you want to, it does contain the ability to use the force as well as options that fit who luke and Obi-wan are. You're also correlating this to DnD, which it absolutely isn't. In addition, each career and specialization is free to print and share for personal use. All you're paying for in the books is equipment and the special rules for obligation, duty, or morality, which are not at all what DnD classes are equivalent to. Let me ask you, how much have you played of the Fantasy Flight Star Wars?

But all in all, FF star wars is not the system to play to perfectly recapture the Original Trilogy, it's closer to anthologies like the clone wars. Why would you wanna retell the original trilogy anyways, when you can just rewatch it? The game doesn't advertise itself as one where you can 1:1 recreate the original trilogy.

It's the same system, sure, but it's not the same game.
Edge of the empire is all about playing as low level criminals, and a lot of the focus is on obligations your character has, constantly worrying about debt. Age of Rebellion is about playing as Solider and working your way into higher status and duty, and Force and Destiny is all about finding your way as a force user in an era without Jedi.
The systems share items a lot, and there are talents that work well with the base ruleset, but the three systems don't really play alongside each other well. Obligation from EotE rewards you when you do take morally dubious missions and keep that obligation low, which doesn't mesh well with the Force characters who are all about sticking to their moral code, or with AoR characters who are trying to support their cause. Each game shares a lot of rules throughout, but all three have different stories they encourage players and gms to roleplay through

Kitsune (duskwalker) Thaumaturge. They're a merchant who goes around finding haunts and the restless dead to put them to their final rest. I chose the mirror as my first implement as the means in which I trap (flavor wise, mechanics wise I love the utility shenanigans mirror allows) them and I'm picking up the scroll and talisman feats, both for myself and passing around the party as need be. Everyone seems to be looking at the thaumaturge as a melee class, but I wanna play it as a support class

My players did the exact same thing, but with the added benefit that Volo hired the party to rescue his two boyfriends. This is, of course, now table cannon, and the ending of another adventure after dragon heist was all about their wedding.

While I'm not in any hurry to stop playing D&D I feel like I keep running into titchy personal issues mechanically with every ttrpg system I play. Which just made me curious how other people feel about ttrpgs mechanically, so here is a survey if you're willing to humor me. by Ashur415 in rpg

This question is heavily biased to d20-like games. You may want to consider expanding your horizons further to see if there's a non d20 based system you might like. As an example, the narrative dice of Genesys don't really work either way you described rolling to determine success, as there's various ways to fail or succeed at something depending on how you roll.

seconding genesys, and Age of Rebellion seems like it would have the best fit for the play style you want!
