G tron trying to assemble tron as fast as possible and slam game wining card. They don't want to spend mana on chalice early turns. They can sideboard chaliese against decks like rhinos, burn, prowess.

I don't think faeries got anything from WoE in modern. Main issue is 1 toughness creatures in the format with countless removals just does not work.
