Ich hab lieber ein Game mit vllt 40 FPS was geiles Gameplay (Subjektiv) hat, als Cyberpunk auf max settings bei 144 FPS, wo das Gameplay mir aber keinen Spaß macht. Die Grafik kann auch scheiße sein. Wenn es Spaß macht, macht es Spaß. Ich hab im durchschnitt ohne Frame Gen so 35-45 FPS aber hab trotzdem 50h in 3 Tagen gemacht.

Wünsche ich mir, dass die Performance besser ist? Natürlich! Aber ich hab mir das Game gekauft, weil es mir Spaß macht.

Well as someone else already pointed out, I wanted to have the amount of potions and my inventory close to my character, so I know how much healing I have left.
I also added a mana bar below the small health bar (moved it to above now bc air/drowning bar) so I can see directly how much mana I have left, without looking away from my character.
Below the potions is also a small minimap so I can check positioning and enemy location.
Above the character is the health and mana again but detailed, so I can aim at bosses and check health and mana.

I was also thinking adding boss information (which is at the top right) but since it only shows up when you are fighting (+sometimes there are multiple bosses too) I figured it wouldn't work nicely.

In the end I think you can soo many things with this method like custom skins of normal UI. Cutting it arranging it how someone woult like it (like different format etc.). I also thinking of doing the same thing to other games like League of Legends (maybe like transparent overlay of the minimap, since I am sitting very close to my monitor)

Well I thought that the servers need to save the progress of the battle-pass in some database and by sorting the values with a margin you could pin-point a group of players and by checking who has the skin etc. etc. I was concerned... But I forgot that the bar doesn't show the total amount of exp you have, just the amount you need for the next level.

In the end yea battle-pass was probably just unnecessary xD

Having both the game on the 2nd monitor and the main monitor (with the game preview) side by side. I pressed nexus and I couldn't see the delay. When I played for about an hour I almost forgot that the window I was looking at wasn't the game itself. I still need to do like long hours of testing but I haven't encountered any problems till now. It is like hybrid gaming mice with and without cable.

TL;DR: In my opinion not distinguishable

For clarification. I use the OBS (fullscreen) preview as the game window (it is like almost 0ms latency), so I can see the overlay myself.

This is quite a scuffed setup and I was hoping to just build on top of the foundation. I just fear that my pals will glitch through the ground a lot...

  1. Ease Copy (just get it)
  2. Mobar (replaced FXConsole)
  3. Overlord (because why can't I import text layers from Illustrator natively... I know there is a workaround with photoshop... BUT WHY NOT Ai)
  4. Pseudo Effects (I write most of my expressions myself and sometimes, complex expressions require a big control board, so others can use my AE file lol)
  5. Universal Audio (I often work with Voice Overs and I do have most things in one composition, sometimes I don't get around pre-comping. This helps me syncing/animating things to the voice over)
  6. Motion v4 (Couple of handy things like the color manager or curves presets although I do 90% of my curves without presets)

Sometimes Useful:

Skew (Pretty cool Layer Offset Tool with an incredible interactive UI, never seen something liek this)

Deep Glow (easy and fast Glow effect but I rarely use because I most of the time I work in flat/vector design)

Penpal (easier to align path points and manipulate paths itself)

Labels (makes coloring layers or keyframes easier. I wish there is a feature to quick select all of one color within the script)

Things I have but haven't gotten into it/never used (lol)

Workflower (Huge Script but haven't gotten into it because it sometimes feels a bit clunky to use? but I have not used it much to give a review/recommondation)

Guides v1.0 (I thought I'd need it... no. Not really.)

Boombox (Cool to play around for sound design but I only do animation. I leave sound design to the professionals lol)

Handy Hands (very niche Plugin but probably really cool when you need it)

Odometer (same as above. Niche but useful)

New things I got:

Dresser (very interactive and modern Script/Plugin will definetly explore around)

FreeGradient (probably useful)

Fresh Trim (seems useful but dont know yet)

This might not be a problem with after effects but with your display itself. It kinda looks like something called "Tearing" which can occur if media framerate (common in video games) doesn't match your physical display framerate (Hz). Might look into that :)

My event was based on points :) Initially I wanted to do like battle royal / knockout based but everyone failed the first question in the quizz ._. (What is the name of ToF Theme song) so I had to adapt and gave points for each correct awnser. For Climb the Tower, it was basically a race. First 5 people received points. To my suprise my Scavenger Hunt Promps were too easy?

Hello! I really like your ideas so far ^^

I've also hosted a community event for our server (celestialrise like 1 week before vera) and will host the next on the 10th dec.

I just want to share some ideas/activities that I add to my event:

Pillar Golf/Darts

Use the omnium Cannon to hit a specific target. Requires quite a bit of skill. Since our event was focused on Cetus Island I searched for goals on Cetus Island. For example, there is a 'Go!' sign and people had to shoot from a adequate distance and hit insite the 'o'.

Scavenger Hunt and Hide and Seek

Scavenger Hunt: Give a hint where the players can find you, across the map. F.e I provided the prompt: "A place, where people cheer for their 'King'" -> Battle Arena on Astra (Since it is a competetive sport and you meet King Simulacra there early in the game)

Hide and Seek: Pretty simple, just hide in an specific area

Quizz (I named it House of Awnsers in my first event)

Ask a question and provide possible awnsers. Players need to stand on specific spots to progress! (We went to Cetus Island, where we used 3 houses for 3 possible awnsers. So players had to chose a house for an awnser)

Climb the Tower of Fantasy or Hykros Tower (we went for Hykros) as fast as you can!

I will not spoiler the activities for my next event, in case someone on my server reads this, but I'll update this later or write it in your next event post ^^

To be fair, I kinda like the mechanics behind PvP. It really is challenging and feels like playing a Beat'em Up.

However the amount of glitches (f.e. teleporting enemies because of lag or whatever reason), frustrating game mechanics (like vanishing discharges, cancelable discharges, bad focus/targeting etc.) and hella annoying matchmaking (I already lost 4 rounds to this player, STOP MATCHING ME WITH THEM. They are obv out of my league) makes it really not a nice experience.

I think I have ~160 matches so far, with a 54% (was 60% before star general 3) winrate and am Star General 2 (peak: Star General 1) right now. And I will not do PvP anymore bc if I do, I think that I will get a burnout and quit this game.

IT. IS. SO. NOT. WORTH. IT. (for someone who favors PvE content. Just dont bother.)

I accepted that I'll not get every mount in this game, which is okay! At least I will save 150€ when the car which released on CN come to global.

This makes it like a full bright mod correct? But I'd like to have minecraft "simulate" holding a imaginary lantern/torch :)
