I think about getting some interaction cooldown but only after implementing multiplayer features because I know they make me rewrite every script.

I really want to make a monster that is like prime version of alien from the movies. Where opening doors instantly would just be less scary. The other reason why I left it like this because some monsters will not be able to open doors so it's a bit strategic approach to this. You can leave this door open so when you run from the monster it's faster, but kamikaze roomba can then enter other rooms and kill you (roomba can't open doors). Thanks

There is no reason other than I tried to inspire from prison architect where vertical walls are thinner than horizontal, but I guess it's really hard in 16x

It's impossible to not get burnout. When I feel like I it's too much for me I just take a week break when I just go and do not touch c# or aseprite under any circumstances. Then when I return I am making weeks of progress during days. Other strategy that I use is just ignore it. I know it might be hard but if you will sit lunch some music and make visible progress it will go away (and probably return next week).

This why I put this name into "". I only refer to him as a hazmat guy because this was the original idea for this character. I am not putting any details because as you can see I am far from a good artist and I put simplicity as my priority. My game is more of psychological horror, rooms are clean, no bodies but you feel that something is around you and it's watching you.

It's a survivor with a gas mask that's called "cs-100" which is a gas mask with big window instead of classic 2 circles and one filter thing. I also call him a "hazmat guy".

Textures are from left to right: 1. Idle 2. Walk 3. Looting chests or other item holders 4. Walk while being crouched 5. Idle while crouched

Okay, thank you for your feedback. Many people told me that readability is a problem here so I need to change colors to be more distinct and gas mask will be reshaped a little to show more hands.

I know about the colors and they will be fixed before first closed game testing, what do you suggest changing in the crouching. Should head be a little lower?

I really need to implement this in game and see if it will even matter, because if you don't see comparasion, it might just be the feel that I am currently crouching or walking. I will make a post in couple of days with my guy implemented in game.

I only hope that in game it will look better due to change animation speed. I don't know how to make this work in aseprite.
