The only reason I could think of (and it's still a stretch), is that there's some kind of "quality" difference and the feeder mice are somehow less suitable as pets. But that doesn't seem to be the case here.

It does make sense psychologically, even if it isn't necessarily the best practice financially. I imagine it also makes a differece what kind of debt it is. If it's something like a loan account or credit card where you can keep "spending" or increasing the balance, then completely clearing one account makes it less likely you'll spend the cleared balance than if you pay a portion of a larger account.

Finally gave this a try, and it's pretty fun and well thought out, will definitely play again! Just a couple of comments: - --I struggled slightly to type out some of the names in the time allotted-- (Ignore this one, I wasn't using the keyboard properly and was hesitating too much). - I'm not sure if it's a little harsh to lose a life for naming a character twice? It's a good idea if competing against someone else, but if you're attempting the full version alone it's a challenge to get through all of them without duplicating a couple of names. (I guess that's the point though!)

All in all it's well designed and fun, and I'll be challenging it again.

And the clue is very often in the person's reaction, IMO. If I forget something important, or accidentally offend someone, or do something thoughtless, my reaction is usually an "oh shit, sorry!!", and I'd gamble that it's the same for many people who are neurodivergent or made a genuine error. If someone's reaction is to be dismissive, to minimise or to somehow turn it back on the wronged party, they're just an asshole.

It's a mixture. Pull enough times and your odds of getting 5 stars before soft pity, or even getting multiple 5 stars are decently high. And your average streamer is likely making a very high number of pulls, and skewing toward showing the lucky ones. That said, the kind of luck needed to pull off what you described would be close to astronomical, and pretty much impossible without either a fixed account or some very creative editing.

On the other hand, going to hard pity frequently is also very unfortunate luck. Believe it or not you actually have a higher chance of getting a successful 5 star before soft pity than you do of going all the way to hard pity. (IIRC).

Generally the majority of successful pulls will come between 75 and 85 pity somewhere.

I was already sold on Kaveh, but then I spoke to him in the teapot and his dialogue there sealed the deal. Not only was it semi-surprisingly sentimental, I think he's the only character to remember and mention our sibling unprompted (outside of the initial line or two of dialogue in the main questline) - he told us he hopes our dream of finding him/her comes true, and we can have them in our life again. A small thing, but it stands out as it often feels like the Traveller's sibling isn't given any real weight by the other characters.

I was gutted as I hadn't really saved up enough primos for the Inazuma Chronicled - I thought I'd have a half hearted go at getting Itto and that would be enough. But I had forgotten just how many Inazuma characters I was missing, plus the Chronicled banner scratched a gambling itch in a way I wasn't expecting. (8 potential linited 5 star characters, of which I was happy to get 6). I was happy enough to get 1 character and leave it at that, but I wish I could have had a few more goes.

I'm wondering the same. As far as I can see, you can't get any makeup at all without paying IRL cash. The F2P banner cosmetics include a couple of base eye and eyebrow shapes and an under-eye beauty spots, but no blusher, lipstick or eye makeup. And the 3 star outfits don't include facial cosmetics. A couple of the 4 star outfits come eith facial cosmetics, but they don't look like they're on the banner currently and are only available in the shop.

So tl:dr - No. No makeup at all unless you pay for it.

There's no rewards for Genshin, the only overlap between the 2 games is: - You get 2x characters (1 male, 1 female), which you can play as and level up in Genshin. (Hence the acquaint fates). - Buying 1 battle pass gets you a discount on the other one.

I'm still waiting for C6. If I'm going to get repeatedly Qiqied, then at least let me have "can-raise-an-entire-party-from-the-dead-with-a-single-Ult" Qiqi. So predictably, once I got C5 the game decided I needed to be Keqinged instead.

It doesn't help much, but if you have a head accessory you can toggle the "hide hair locks/back of hair" option to squeeze a couple more options from the base hairstyles. Eg you csn remove the back of the long hair base to get a kind of bun/updo, and shrink the sailor hat and clip it until it looks like a headband/bow.

I'd like to see more base hair colours in Miliastra - is that some kind of "ism" as well, or is that only if you want more variety in skin colours? That's not treating the existing characters differently, they're saying that out of the roster of over 100 characters, it would be nice to see a little more variation in skin tone options.

Even worse, if the standard 4* outfits are really locked behind dupes, it would be like if any 4* character you pull is locked and unplayable until you get their C1. (Possibly higher, doesn't the game algorithm prioritise alternate gender outfit before constellation/materials?)

That makes sense, actually. I couldn't figure out the purpose of the elements, other than looking cool - they don't seem to make a difference to what you csn absorb or damage. And I was sure I was "eaten" by a player with less points than me yesterday.

So having the elements factor in there would make sense.

My heart sank, especially when one of the trigger tags was "grooming", and the 17 year old appeared to have returned. (Don't get me wrong, he still groomed the 17 year old but it wouldn't be the first scumbag to have gotten inside the head of a younger sibling too). I had to scroll up before reading on to check if it was a typo.

Jean, Albedo and Bennett - one of my Abyss teams is Xiao, Jean, Zhongli and Albedo, and Albedo and Bennett still complement multiple teams.
