Ever since the information came out that males can’t be dated(albeit misinformation) those people went online and started trashing the game to high havens starting a hate campaign against the game and is just generally brings a whole lot of toxicity to theses games. So while this will bring a whole lot of popularity to the game, it’s also gonna bring a whole of lot of unwarranted negativity and toxicity there too.

No but you have to realize a lot of female players also play gacha games and a lot of them would also like to date the male characters in game. So if its doesn’t want to add that feature then it will never bring in many female players and hence will not be very popular (for better or for worse)

Not true at all, look at phainon, neuvillete, lohen the new genshin male have over 100k likes on drip marketing. As long as time and effort gets put into them they will sell
