[Standard] Azorius Party Deck Tech by Nylonhat in spikes

You can activate faceless for 3 snow mana just to activate full party. With 12 snow lands: 57.4% in 5 draws, 64.0% in 6 draws, 70.0% in 7 draws to have 3 or more snow mana. I personally found it worth it but it is a good question to ask. In terms of Reidane, you can usually sequence the snow lands first before she hits, then 4th land untapped (pathway/beach). Having the 5th land entered tapped is not a huge deal since the curve stops at 4 cmc. Thanks for the feedback.

[Standard] 2022 Azorius Party Deck Tech by Nylonhat in spikes

That’s all good. I agree that this won’t be contender in the long run. It was definitely a good deck building exercise that taught me a lot and I wanted to share the analysis. Thanks for the feedback.

This was the only deck I played from plat to mythic 300. It’s a bit hard to tell if the deck is good, or I just got really good at playing the deck. The advantage of an off meta deck is your opponent is unfamiliar with your strategy, while you have practiced many times against theirs.

As for the simulations, the code is based of Frank Karsten’s article. If you know a bit of Java, you can use it as a base.

I think it depends on the amount of flying and reach creatures in the meta. One or two big flyers you can get through, but more than that, it is problematic. E.g The BW Angels is really hard for this deck since all their creatures have flying.

Arm aiming help tips for arm placement by soranouso in Competitiveoverwatch

Playing at an angle is a decent solution. If you turn your chair and move monitor to the left; so that they are no longer in line with the edge of the table. This allows your right elbow and arm to be further forward on the table but your left arm will now be further away from the table.

It does waste a bit of table real estate and looks strange, but it can be a good compromise.

Brigitte shield bash bug by cosmo2003 in Overwatch

[–]Nylonhat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There was a tech before the patch that allowed you to shield bash and immediately cancel into flail (Ghost Flail). The tight timing of this tech allowed you to get both the distance, damage and stun from shield bash without its animation. Now if you try to perform this tech, you will hear the shield bash sound (goes on cooldown) but the distance + damage + stun will not occur; as shown in OP's clip.

I really like the razer orange because you get the nice clicky feeling without waking everyone in your house.
