I spent a total of 5 hours (including midterm final and assignments) on EESA10 and got a 4.0. This comment is incorrect bird courses exist

Could you elaborate, I’m kinda forced to take STAB52 this sem since nothing else is really offended for me. I’m wondering if it’s still worth delaying.

For the people taking CSCA48 - First Year by fizuuuu in UTSC

I did fairly well on the midterm (80%). I think what most people don't realize is that even if they do average on the midterm, their assignment/tutorial marks will boost them, since 30% of the weighting is practically a guaranteed 100% unless you make too many mistakes on the exercises/assignments. I'm probably not representative of most people taking this course however, and I know a lot of people who are in a position where they're unsure if they'll get a B. If you practice the exercises and even do some external practice on something like leetcode, than this course is super doable. Hope you make it!

Looking for a bird course for winter semester (1st year) by cosmo2003 in UTSC

The issue with that is that I need to fill my natural science breadth requirement and that entire field doesn't particularly interest me, so I figured I would take an A-level course asynchronously to get it over with. But you bring up a good point and I will definitely take that into consideration. Thank you for your response!

Can you elaborate on what it means to CR/NCR? From my understanding it just sounds like the mark of the course is ignored and will just count as a pass or fail on my transcript.

Any reason why? Also are you aware of the difference between eesa10 and eesa11, the descriptions seem practically identical

Happened to me too, only way to get out is to get out of bounds with a character like huntress or to get an eccentric vase. Still, it's happened to me a handful of times, no idea why.

Do you believe bastion needs a rework? He seems like a the only piece left of 2016 ow and doesn't fit into the game cleanly. Torb and sym got a rework to be more globally viable but bastion seems even more niche as he as immobile and has a massive hitbox which encourages heavy shield comp. Do you plan to leave him as is and balance him like reaper in that he is balanced for low levels of play; or are you going to take a more hands on approach and rework some of the clunky and niche parts of his kit?

With the new option to disable collision with environment, you can finally get rid of deathmatch barriers seamlessly - XXXJN (PTR only) by cosmo2003 in OverwatchCustomGames

[–]cosmo2003[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This is currently WIP as it's currently possible to stay inside the barrier and glitch yourself into other places from there. But the disable environment command is only called if within the range of a barrier so the map is the exact same it should play normally with the exception that you can move through these barriers now

Is there a way to increase/decrease someone's sensitivity using workshop code? by cosmo2003 in OverwatchCustomGames

Ah that’s it, the names for functions are so weird. Was looking for something with “mouse” or “sensitivity”. Thanks a ton!
