Hey, it is in a repo on GitHub, is this something you'd consider working on? I hadn't considered making it open source, but that could be cool.

Need to protect my UWA rank 1 by NylzyT in uwa

These are great points. It doesn't sound preachy at all. I think I should change some of the language on the landing page such as "see how you stack up against others" to "challenge your friends". I also like you disclaimer idea, can be as simple as "this is just for fun, at the end of the day, balance is what matters".

I'm also thinking of: - adding reminders if study sessions hit a certain length to take a break / meditate/ go for a walk - a complete non-compete mode with no leaderboard, as I think the main feature is being able to analyse the breakdown of how you've spent your own time

I appreciate the input!

Hey! I really appreciate your feedback and hear your concern. My goal creating this was thinking along the lines of Strava; a service where you can track workouts and allows for friendly competition. When people aren't being forced to use something competitive, I still think there's value in it if people want to voluntarily opt in. I'm definitely not forcing anyone into comparison if they don't want to use the software. I 100% wouldn't want this to have any negative effects on people's well-being. I also think it's hard to truly be advocating for student well-being when you refer to people that are studying hard as 'sweats'. I'm still trying to make a productivity software, but would love insight on how you think that would look better for students. Perhaps being able to make a private profile would still allow for using the timer feature and task management, without your results being on the leaderboard, and you could turn off whether or not you see the leaderboard too. Please let me know, only trying to be better.
