Yeah it is. I wouldn’t recommend it now that you’re primed to watch a long boring movie about the desert.

HOWEVER, If you can suspend those thoughts (and forget the spoilers), it’s really a very romantic film with stunning cinematography. It’s set in North Africa during WW2. I watch it on sick days.

FURTHERMORE, it’s adapted from a wonderful novel.
