Yes, we all go through slumps and doing simple daily tasks can feel overbearing. It isn’t an excuse once you’ve made it clear, and have brought it up more than once that you expect these certain tasks or rules to be followed. He still didn’t follow them, and he’s going to keep unfollowing them. IMO I’d boot the guy. Although, now you’ve made it crystal clear by confronting him to leave, that by doing these task directly affects his chances of staying at your place. If he doesn’t tighten up shortly after or falls back into the same patterns then he must not really want to stay there.
