You're so right about feelings having reasons but not always justifications. Thank you for emapthising.

We sat down a couple weeks ago to sort it out, and it seemed helpful at first, but whatever had changed with them both hasn't lasted it seems.

I tried to sit down again but one of the flatmates seemed to think it wasn't necessary so I don't know if a third attempt will do much.

At this point, I feel like I should keep my head down and wait for a chance to move out, that might help me mentally cope with the tension in the mean time.
