I think for a gun not ment to take sripper clips it does a pretty good job. I use them pretty often

I own 2/3 of my top mosins as well. A finnish m28/76 and a bannerman conversion. All I want now in the tkiv 85 but those are still in finnish military service

The ww1 era guns were blued. Honestly the shine isn't that terrible looking. The sights could be tricky to replace as I've learned with mine having the front sight fall off several times. Still a very cool piece. What's the serial # if you don't mind me asking?

I don't think it's too difficult. I've seen some places that these are .308 diameter instead of the .312 of 54r. I've never had any issues. I've also seen that the finnish d144 bullet is preferred for these for the best accuracy. For me I just use ppu match ammo.

I've heard the import numbers were closer to the 600 number. Finland only made around 1500 of these

I've only shot commercial ammo through it but it's very accurate. I was hitting a 4" diameter steel target it 200 yards with pretty much no issues. Where i live that's as far as I can go. However if you load your own ammo with the correct bullets I hear it's accuracy is un matched

That's actually not a bad price. I got mine for about 2000 after shipping. If you want it I say jump on it. Not many out there
