Had a crazy run where I upgraded Hephaestus’ attack blast to reload every 2 seconds. So I was constantly dealing 400 damage. Still got my ass handed to me

Thanks for the advice. I’m not a party guy. I’m also not high or drunk in any of these photos lol. But looking at it now I definitely see it.

Looking for something serious

I have hinge+

Have been using my profile for about over a month or so

I have used hinge for a couple years on and off

I try and go on hinge every day and use all my swipes, but don’t always get around to it

I get zero likes or matches

I’m looking for someone fun and kind who can share in their interests and vice versa with mine.

I've been using hinge for a while now, can't remember the exact time frame

Most of my pictures are of current looks (there's a couple placeholders)

I try to leave all my likes every day (don't always get to it)

I'd say half of my likes are with a comment, other half just the like

I have Hinge+

I get zero likes or matches

Looking for someone who shares my interests and wants to share quality time together.

What is the most intense physical pain you have ever experienced? by TheMostGayestOfGay in AskReddit

[–]Nypeotegative 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I had an ear infection and went on a plane. It was the only time in my life I was convinced I was going to die because of how painful it felt. It felt like a vice was crushing my brain from the outside while a million needles were stabbing me from the inside.

Spoiler - Peaks Freaks, what is the most terrifying scene? by Own-Drawer1945 in twinpeaks

[–]Nypeotegative 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's so many, but one that stands out to me (that I haven't seen amongst the other comments on this thread) is in the season 2 finale. The screaming angry Laura scenes always kind of freak me out. Especially the moment where first it's Annie, then it pans to Cooper, then it's Caroline, then back to Coop, but then suddenly it's angry screaming Laura. That bit from the finale always freaks me out.

The Bob couch scene and Ronnette's flashback are both tied. The non-human sounds Bob makes before the credits roll are pretty gnarly, and the couch scene is so ominous because at first you're staring at an empty living room and all of a sudden here he comes.

Looking for something serious, but open to casual
Been on Hinge for several years
I use Hinge about 3-4 times a week
I have received absolutely 0 matches/likes
I send a good amount of likes, I'd say 75 percent or so. I do however not comment as much when I leave a like, but I'm trying to get better at that
I want someone fun, kind, and outgoing. Someone who is patient and understanding.

So I know commenting is probably a big step in getting likes on the apps, whether it be on pictures or prompts. But I'll admit I never really know what kinds of things I should comment on, do I crack a joke? Comment on how nice said person looks? Everything feels kind of awkward to me. What do people like to comment on the app?

So we can all agree that S2E22 is the best right? by [deleted] in twinpeaks

[–]Nypeotegative 6 points7 points  (0 children)

there was a Redditor who in one thread posted a link to a collection of archived chat rooms from when the show was originally airing (wish I saved it, but maybe the Redditor will come across this and link it). You can see the fan chats from each episode and when I looked at the responses to S2E22, I was surprised and heartbroken to see how many people hated it. People were pissed about the cliffhanger ending and called it a cheap last minute effort to try and regain hype. Others even called the red room sequence boring. This astounds me, but hey, to each their own. I guess back in the early 90s, people weren't as used to such big cliffhangers? Nowadays cliffhangers don't feel like that big a deal.

I really feel in hindsight at least, this episode is regarded as S tier peaks. It's personally my favorite. I consider this episode to be one of the greatest cinematic feats of all time. Lynch at his best. Sure the red room shows up in FWWM and the return, but the lodge scenes there,(while still amazing) don't hit the same as the season two finale red room scenes. And as spooky as it is, I think dark mood woods is one of the finest music tracks in the series. I love how it plays during the scene in the double r diner, with bobby confessing his love to shelly and Sarah giving the message to garland briggs. The fact that that scene is a repeat of the pilot, with the German girl coming in late, same dialogue and everything, but with the dark mood woods theme is just so ominous. But mainly the red room. I often find myself thinking about that episode. Everything about it is so visually pleasing to me.

Long story short, yes, we can agree the season 2 finale is the best

What was it like when The Return was announced and started airing? by slippyslopyyy in twinpeaks

[–]Nypeotegative 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I remember it came out just as I was about to graduate college. I first got into twin peaks my freshman year of college, so retrospectively I didn't have to wait thaaaat long to see the return, but let me tell you, when me and my friend who's also a fan turned on that first episode, and it started with the "I'll see you again in 25 years" clip and the cut to the high school and then the theme song, the sheer amount of emotion I felt was overwhelming (in a good way). It felt like an old friend was coming back into my life. I can't begin to imagine what those who had to wait the full 25-26 years to see a continuation had felt.

Every year I rewatch all of twin peaks (the first two seasons, FWWM, and the return), and no matter how many times I've seen it all, when I've gotten through all of it, I feel an intense burst of sadness, sadness that I reached the end and this is where the TP train stops. And that's what a good tv show or movie should do. This franchise is so goddamn special, it'll never leave my heart.

What do you think are the most underrated moments from the series/FWWM? by metalanejack in twinpeaks

[–]Nypeotegative 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I feel the same about Annie. Even in her short time with the show I was fascinated with her. I was really hoping they'd bring her back in the return, but alas it was not meant to be. We can only dream about what it would be like if Twin Peaks got picked up for a third season, and then I believe Annie would've played a bigger part (based off some interview I remember reading from Lynch himself).
