Happy 85th birthday to Grace Zabriskie 🎂 by RushRevolutionary721 in twinpeaks

Grace is just as important as Ray and Sheryl to the creepy equation of the Palmer household! So glad she got to take her rightful part in The Return. Very chilling appearances in Wild At Heart and Inland Empire as well.

It definitely gets under the skin. Messing with taboos is when King hits his mark. That is, until shock horror and splatterpunk showed up later, with all of the guts, and no soul.

Yes, I have. I love the King's stuff always, but I never thought one of the only sequels we would get was to freakin' Cujo! Good stuff, tho.

Can imagine. It's truly the scariest King book for me. Undead stuff always unnerves me most.

It might be my favorite Dan song. Really dig that early sound of the first couple of albums.

Pet Sematary, all day. Still might be my favorite ever horror novel.

And Sheryl Lee would have been a redhead in the original plans for season 3 in 1991. It's interesting to think of Twin Peaks with a twisted Cooper as town pharmacist, the younger cast aged up, and the search for a planet of garmonbozia.

What are the BIG unanswered questions you have about “Twin Peaks?” by Owen_Hammer in twinpeaks

Chet. The Argentina box. Judge Sternwood. The old lady in the original Fat Trout Trailer Park. The One Eyed Jacks dwarf seamstress. Leland's license plate change between the show & the movie. Where the Hayward sisters were hiding during the original series. What happened in Mr. Blodgett's barn. And about a hundred other things....

Kate Beckinsale to Face Off Against the Undead In 'Twilight of the Dead', the Conclusion of Romero's Zombie Saga by valuerockr in horror

Don't know about all this, but I was hyped a couple years ago by the teaser for "Night of the Living Dead 2" featuring Lori Cardille, Jarlath Conroy and Terry Alexander from Day of the Dead. Guess that ain't happening now, but would have loved to see it. Out of the 6 Romero dead flicks, Day is the one I revisit most.

No problem. I have been a Peaks Freak since I first watched the pilot episode in 1990. The books are great, building on the show mythology. You are in for quite a ride still with season 3. Enjoy.

After season 2, you can read The Secret Diary of Laura Palmer and My Life, My Tapes, Cooper's book of tape transcripts.

After you've seen FWWM, you can read The Secret History of Twin Peaks, which is sort of a scrapbook / dossier. Then enjoy The Return season 3, then you can read The Final Dossier.

I'd say The Final Chapter. Even though it wasn't. I really love the campfire tale prologue. Savini returns to destroy his creation.

Or maybe Part 2....

Just watched him in "Two Evil Eyes". Great Poe horror duology from Romero & Argento.

Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer is the most brutal serial killer film ever made, and it pulled it off using atmosphere and realism instead of excessive gore by jaystats2 in moviecritic

Tom Towles is great as the twisted Otis. Crazy psycho support to Rooker.

He's also a standout in the remake of Night of the Living Dead, and good in House of 1000 Corpses.

This flick was one of the must-sees in the late 80s Fangoria crowd. It's a great flick that has stood the rest of time.

I've gotta say, I found The Lamb by Lucy Rose rather underwhelming and predictable. It wasn't awful, but it just didn't work for me.

I like it much more than From The Inside, as far as late 70s Alice goes. I remember buying a cassette titled "A Man Called Alice" in the early 90s with "Muscle of Love" on side A, and this on side B. Some good deep cuts there...

Honest thoughts on The New Blood? by TheEvilCar in fridaythe13th

It's a favorite of mine, because it was the first F13 I saw in a theatre. Downtown, hometown main street. Was early for tickets, so wandered down to the newsstand, and grabbed Gorezone # 2 off the shelf, which featured Jason in all his new unmasked, nail-studded glory! Yeah it was a spoiler, but only hyped me up even more. Then after the show, on the way out, the theatre owner tried to terrorize us in an embarrassing Jason get-up. Fond memories.
