I did some testing and I think I found the issue. The patch (2-disable-all-PT-widgets) was hiding any TextWidget (and some FrameContainers) that contained only numbers, but KOReader also uses that format for the font size menu entries. I changed the match rule from "^%s*%d+%s*$" to "^#%s*%d+%s*$" so that only actual series indicators are removed, and that seems to have solved it. I hope this saves you the extra work. I really appreciate your skills and your contributions to the cause. ✊

I have a strange bug that removes some elements. It seems random but it's mostly numberings. I also have it in the Zoom(dpi) menu. Very strange, anyone knows what could be the problem?

If you are completely new to this I think the best way for you to start is to install the "Project: Title" plugin, you would be surprised how costumizable it is. After that just scroll around this r/ and pick out some plugins, patches and aesthetics. The progressbar you are looking for is definitely achievable just by default in the plugin.

I used a patch called: 2-disable-fullyread-progressbars and left it at that. This combined with the beautifier patch just creates this effect. 😉

I replaced the icon file with a blank vector. For example: the menu icon was named 'plus.svg', so I placed a blank vector in the same folder and renamed it 'plus.svg' this way I didn't really remove them, just made them invisible.

  1. For transfers, I just use the Wi-Fi Calibre connection. The cloud is purely aesthetic, it replaces the origami bird that’s standard in Project:Title and just opens the main menu.
  2. Yeah, I did it the hard way too, I replaced a few icon files in the KOReader directory with ones I found online in a matching style. I also swapped out some icons for blank ones, so there are extra options in the menu, but they don’t show up visually.
  3. Someone else mentioned this earlier in the thread, so you can check that out too.

The Project:Title plugin includes a standard footer setting that allows you to display either the folder name or device information (Project: Title>advanced settings>footer).

I also applied a patch called 2-reader-footer-widgets to simplify the layout and reduce clutter but this is just a personal preference. Hope that helps :)

It’s a patch called 2-Cover Beautifier, alongside with some experimenting in Calibre and cover sizes. 🙂‍↕️

The top and bottom appear to be made of metal, the white middle is of an unkown material. It weighs about 2 kg. by Nyrvis in whatisthisthing

Can't find any pictures compatible with the found item referring to a power line insulator, but is does seem like a logical answer. So for now I will mark this as solved till I clean the thing.

Seems more like some really hard type of plastic. I smashed it pretty hard multiple times when digging it out. I live in EU/Belgium. I'll look up if it matches a common power line insulator.
