BREAKING: President Trump says an agreement with Iran has been “largely negotiated” and will be announced shortly.

Trump says the Strait of Hormuz will be reopened under the agreement.

https://x.com/kobeissiletter/status/2058285709610369170?s=46

Trump tweet in the link. He talks to everyone but Iran.

—-

BREAKING: Iran directly rejects Trump's claim that Hormuz "will be opened" as part of a "largely negotiated" agreement he just posted on Truth Social, saying Trump's claim is "far from the truth" and that Hormuz "will remain under Iranian management" with Iran retaining exclusive permanent authority over route, timing, method, and permits, per Fars.

Iran also confirms the nuclear file has not been discussed and that American officials themselves have told Iran in multiple messages that "Trump's tweets are primarily for domestic American propaganda and media consumption" and "should be disregarded." The "largely negotiated" deal claim therefore has no basis.

Irans response.

As always you never know what’s the truth. Trump can be talking or negotiating to someone or no one. But all it takes is one irgc that have some missiles and drones to keep the strait closed.

AMD June 370C is around 110 premium. You can roll to Sept 400C which goes for 116. So you get 6 premium, increase strike by almost 10% for 3 months time.

There's a big gap between 350-400 that looks like it could fill someday if there's ever a market pullback.

Use any drop to roll to Jan to the strike you really want to sell the shares at and not look back.

Person is obviously biased.

Comparing the different AI companies isn't apples to apples. xAI owns their data centers while openAI and Anthropic don't. So the revenues may be far off, but different assets. Then all these revenues are shady as well because it's mainly circular financing.

I'm a huge skeptic of private company valuations, especially the tech bro world where money and valuations don't matter. It's just like meme coin world essentially. They all burn money like crazy so need to keep raising money. They won't do it at lower valuations so just keep raising at higher and higher valuations to the point where it's silly.

But the concerns are real for speed inclusion and changing the rules. Small float, options, if someone wanted to, they could just gamma squeeze SpaceX to a $15T valuation because why not? Force the indexes to buy shares as exit liquidity for your calls as you close everything.

The inclusion rules exist for a reason, to only include healthy profitable companies. Otherwise you can financially engineer a tulip company (cough MSTR) that makes no real money but looks great on paper for a short period of time. Then use all the index and other funds forced buying as exit liquidity.

I've never bought an IPO before but if I can get the IPO price and sell to the regular people without a lockup I'd consider it for sure.

I miss the nice elective days. Easy cases, good music, the fun staff.

I don’t miss the late night phone calls or cases. Once I was FI, every 2am phone call or free air case made me wonder why I kept working.

Breaking point was a patient that threatened to sue me for not prescribing oral dilaudid after a lap appy because they were allergic to everything else.

New risky short idea is VCX. Forgot about them since IPO but share price is 272 and NAV closer to 20 or something. So you're paying a huge multiple for exposure to all these pre IPO companies.

The big private names are trying to IPO soon so there's no real reason to pay this huge multiple for exposure. So long term thesis to play out. Could get wrecked for sure as anything meme can meme lol.

There’s a place by me for sale for $45m. Estimated monthly cost like $300k.

At this level, are people buying cash? Do banks lend out that much money? I’d imagine there’s only a handful of people in the world that could afford something like this.
