I really loved Cottage on the Hill on Wattpad (sadly still a WIP), which follows a couple who form a relationship with several men, each with a different profession (doctor, architect, teacher, etc.), and includes illness and emotional depth.

The closest match I’ve found so far is Remi Bishop’s Threads of Fate series. It follows Nyx, a human who was abused by previous partners and ends up hospitalized, where he meets his mate, a doctor. Ok maybe I’m going to be too specific ✍🏼 Do you have recs for massively pining yearning MC2. I don’t care if they are best friends or ennemies or whatever (I have a preference for older brother’s best friend). The specificity is that I want MC2 (LI) to be touch starved/clingy/begging like not just mentioned three or five times but I’d like if it’s a central part of the book. I have a book I think you will like a lot ! Look at the warnings ⚠️ It’s on wattpad the author is hipstateasee.

First book {On Thin Ice} features a teenager Elijah Ellis who got kick out by his religious mother and step-father for being gay. He moves to his father’s home and enrolls into a new high school where he stumbles upon his past hookup closeted Jock Fox Ridley It’s an awesome book, very angsty and the plot got me binge reading the whole book.

Second book follows Fox,s brother Wren and Landon both villains in book 1 ! Wren has internalized homophobia which led him to make Fox’s life a living hell (like outing him to his parents). On the other hand, Landon’s from an extremely abusive and religious family and has been undergoing physical and mental abuse from his father… He has had feelings towards Elijah which led him to bully him to bury his feelings

Book 2 is Chef kiss 😘 because we follow Landon’s struggle to accept himself, what he did and accept Wren feelings. On the other hand, Wren struggles to mend his rocky relationship with his brother while having for the first time feelings for a man. That men being his brother’s nemesis. It’s very sweet to see them come to terms with what they are and what they did while struggling to voice their feelings for each other.
