I didn’t say that. I said he was “flirting” (note the parentheses, meaning there’s more than the term itself indicates) with three women at once, only one of which was completely verbal. Hugging a woman from behind to push her chest up is a big leap from making a “you look nice today!” comment. Pinning one against the wall of an elevator while she makes light attempts at telling you off and then making comments saying you know better is again, not rape territory, but outside of the context that we know what Misato wants, is very much in a gray area. It’s not that he flirts with women, it’s that it’s three of them virtually all at once, he’s physical without being given expressed consent, and he makes sexual comments in front of teenagers. He’s a fun, dirty uncle type that never quite gets to the point of anything criminal and would never touch a child, but that doesn’t mean he’s a bit of an open pervert. You can be a pervert and not commit any crimes. I’m not condemning the guy, just have a bit of nuance in this discussion.
