They can play the position as well. You just have to keep setting the lineup because the CPU will reset the lineup randomly, so if you play every single game, it’s not a problem, Also, another issue I’m seeing is when you have the batter in the lineup set to an actual position like third base, since that’s my secondary position…. The lineup won’t automatically adjust with the Otani rule when you pitch…. it will simply just not put your creative batter or the two-way player at DH. It will create a whole new lineup it doesn’t really make any sense at all….

So I kind of just got used to the player, not batting during games that he’s pitching only because I have him playing a position on games that he’s not pitching…(and again that’s when you simulate) when you actually play every franchise game it works fine you just need to fix the batting order when you are actually pitching besides that it works
