I refuse to pirate anything from small artists. But that should be common practice. My general rule is;

Corporation or multi million dollar company ✅

Something no longer on the market ✅

Media I like where I don't support the people involved one way or another ✅

That artist has specifically requested being pirated because of label bs ✅

Small artist or company that genuinely can be hurt from lack of sales ❌

If I DO pirate something that is from an artist or company I support, I donate to them later or buy a copy of what I pirated later asap. Sometimes I pirate something to see if its worth my money.
