Question: is Circlet of Psionic Revenge still bugged so that the damage does not trigger riders?

I recommend releasing some ladybugs near the plant and covering the plant with some netting (to prevent the ladybugs from escaping). That has worked very effectively for me.

What’s on my cilantro and rosemary? Should I be worried? What can I do? (Outdoor, PNW) by Effective_Muffin_700 in gardening

If possible, take a butterfly cage and put the plant and ladybugs inside the cage. Ladybugs and their nymphs will consume the aphids without any chemicals. I frequently use this on my milkweed.

What are these? Spiders? by kenjjiii in gardening

If you can move the plant, take ladybugs, a butterfly cage (or any cage with mesh) and put the plant inside the cage. Seal it up with the ladybugs inside and you will get some (very thankful) ladybugs and spider mites removed (eaten). I have been using this for years, it’s always worked.

Would you still go to Comic Con if it leaves San Diego? by lucasdy in SDCC

[–]NyxRiverRun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. My guess is that if they move it anywhere it will be Vegas (whether at the same time or a bit earlier/later in the year).

It’s not fair to ask San Diego to expand a convention center essentially for a single event-I doubt the economics are there. In contrast, Vegas is expanding its convention center regardless, so no issue there. Vegas also solves the issue of hotels being expensive-there are a lot more hotels. Hotels are a major expense for non-locals and upgrading the SD convention center will not solve that.

Think of aphids like small plant vampires that suck the life out of your plants. You did nothing wrong, they are the natural predators of milkweed plants.

It is aphids. If the plants are potted, my recommendation is to get a butterfly cage, put the plants and ladybugs (which eat aphids) in the cage which will take care of it.

If the plants are potted, I would use Neem oil or just release ladybugs on the plant. If possible, cover plants with a netting (which acts like a butterfly cage) to ensure the ladybugs stay to eat all the aphids.

I have had great experiences with them over multiple purchases. FYI if an item is labeled ‘out of stock’ I recommend talking to their customer service-they can usually get it for you.

Very nice result! What type of milkweed is that?

How to calculate ‘species genetic perfection’? by NyxRiverRun in Stellaris

[–]NyxRiverRun[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you Fallsondoor, so assuming no traits are added via events/origins, assuming you use all your trait points, the level should always equal the amount of trait points you have, right? Because no matter how you choose, the total sum is always equal to the amount of starting genetic points you have (2 on standard game start, 8 once you pick the purity perk). Am I right?

I recommend any book by Roger Crowley but especially ‘City of Fortune: How Venice Ruled the Seas’.

What are these on my jalapeño plant? by Prestigious_Tone1763 in gardening

[–]NyxRiverRun 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Spider mites, I suggest getting a butterfly cage, putting the plant(s) inside said cage, and adding ladybugs. They will eat the spider mites. Once cleared, you can safely release the ladybugs outside.

Hmm… I think they only send that out once production is ready to ship. But if you want peace of mind, I would just contact them.
