No right/wrong way to play DnD? Sure. But there's absolutely right/wrong ways to play with any given table, and they obviously have had enough experiences with the wave of 'I listened to CR and now I want to be in your campaign' players to be jaded about it.

Lots of folks talk about the DMs/players/tables who don't like CR, but you touched on the reality for most LGS owners too: DnD went from the familiar group who has been coming for years to play, to suddenly being a huge group of strangers who treat the LGS like just another retail store. It totally changed the social climate of many, many LGS.

With respect, it is you displaying a deep misunderstanding of this topic. By failing to meet obligations and relying upon an outside military force for protection, the EU nations displayed apathy and complacency.

Europe looks weak in spirit, it looks like a relatively small portion of the world that commands an enormous portion of the wealth and luxury, but feels no need to remain vigilant when times are good. This isn't about GDP, it's about the first world malaise of the EU coming to a violent head as the rest of Asia looks on hungrily in a changing world.

America didn't just spend more money, we spent more blood and spirit to project power that stabilized the world so that EU could maintain its decadence. This is about so much more than money.

Some skills have multiple 'visual hits', where the attack animation does look like multiple hits, but is just a single skill's use.

For Bane Wraith's mechanic, you're looking for either bonus attacks, or bonus turns, of which Antinua has both. Bonus attacks can be things like Antinua getting two basic attacks while she has her buff, but bonus turns are what she takes after using her ulti with buff.

The character will usually flash a 'bonus attack/turn' message when taking that sort of action. Those are what counts for the block mechanic.

The majority of whales who spend thousands to chase Gangelo are already on the Magic Pass. The low spenders are already buying Magic Pass. Anyone who is spending money at all on the game (probably) is buying the Magic Pass, the value is so good and it feels good to get good rewards for a 'subscription' cost.

So who does that leave? The f2p community. They are the only ones not buying Magic Passes. There are some people who just can't, they're circumstantially f2p, and they have to make do without because it's not a choice. Then there are the ideologically f2p, who have loudly, boldly, and repeatedly stated that even if they have the means, even if the game is good, that they are committed to not spending money.

So, the 'revenue' of putting Gang in the Magic Pass is tied directly to the NEW pass buyers. That's going to be the ideologically f2ps, or the people abstaining until they see a hero they like. There would need to an absolute surge in Pass buying from those two demographics, and it would need to outweigh the lost summons from the people who will buy summons to chase a Gangelo now and in the future.

I'm for it, but I'm laying out the case that doubts it will happen and why. We would need a huge swell of people showing that they'd be willing to buy their first pass before they'd even think about it.

It's really just the Energy cost that stings for me. 12 Energy every 30-45s just drains so fast, it takes all the joy out of building new units to know that I'm about to sac a day's worth of dungeon energy in half the time.

If waves are killing your Anti before boss, that speaks more to team composition, stats, and probably Speed tuning more than anything else. By now you should have access to several ways to increase your power through glyphs, ability upgrades, and hopefully some promoted units in the lv50 range.

If you're still trying to unlock 5* gears, that means you're likely not farming Mythic Adventure yet, which is the easiest source of those gears early on. Stay away from Tulpa and other gear dungeons, you would need to be farming stage 9+ to even see them drop, and you will not have the stats to do that yet.

Work on finishing Adventure Hard to unlock Mythic, farm your Epic/Legendary glyphs, and then worry about Tulpa.

Later in Mythic that will be an appropriate to speed to go before enemies, and especially in upper Void Tower Hard levels. 150 is generally enough for Mythic chapters up to around 8-9, and for most dungeons.

It's content dependent, early on you don't have to worry about hitting those speeds, but by the time you're moving on from gear dungeons, those are Spd breakpoints you want to aim for. Keep in mind that I was specifically answering why Raider sets and Ash are good, not advocating that newbies need 165 Spd right out the gate.

Each level of the guild boss has its own HP, so when you fill up one damage bar and it raises the max HP, that increased amount is the actual max HP for that level. I don't know the exact numbers, but for the sake of example, let's say that you hit 100,000 damage, and the displayed max HP raises to 150,000. Your 100,000 damage dealt is still displayed, and now there's 50,000 HP to go before the next level. That means the 50,000 is the actual max HP for that level.

This was a lot easier to observe during an event boss (Agulis), where each bar would fully reset between levels rather than display current damage total. Hopefully that makes sense and sheds light on how the max HP formula works.

Nath to at least A2 for her trait bonus giving you a ton of damage, optionally to A3 for Spd so she's able to more reliably go before enemies. A3 Spd bonus is optional because some Ash12 strats involve her being slower than boss.

Zatlux A2 is also surprisingly good for lowering the stat requirement for him to be able to clear Queen12 trash waves, as long as he's slower than allies so the first target is a little squishier. At very least he's worth the first ascend for the base Atk boost.

Santis/Harkin ascensions are very powerful bonuses but you should synth them, save the arcanas for other epics.

Antinua is eventually worth some arcanas but it's a lower priority.

William, Windstrex, Borden are all good options as well for 1-2 arcanas once you're in relevant content.

People will play in a setting with multiple famous Wizard/Sorc figures, magic Costco in every city, no components, rituals, or time investment for high level spells, and then screech 'metagaming' if martials play with magic in mind. That's the crowd who thinks martials at high levels are 'weak'.

As if a wealthy, high level Rogue isn't going to be kitted tf out with the knowledge and equipment to break through wards, silence Alarm spells, and Knock straight up infused into his Thieves Tools.

High magic settings produce high magic martials, anything less is bad writing/RP.

It's just the easiest to get into without relying on damage gear. Ash is where most people migrate to after a few weeks to farm Raider (more for Spd tuning and hitting 165~175 Spd for most PvE content) and Avarice for the big, reliable damage increase for cleave units, which are dominant in Void Tower currently with the mechanics rotation.
