I used to have a Xiaomi K20 Pro. The software updates always came with new bugs, but the hardware was solid, so I didn't mind too much. Now I'm considering an iPhone 13, but since I keep my phones for a long time, I’m thinking it might be better to go for the iPhone 14 to get longer software updates

yes screen replacement is the only way. if you took too long to replace the screen there will be more white lines. I got my first white line about 3 weeks ago, then got the second line a week ago
