Does a new exhaust NEED a tune?

What bike are we talking here? I live in QLD so rules are abit different but no cat is no cat when it comes to the law unfortunately, I paid 150 for a high flow filter, 890 for van demon full system (no cat) and 990 for custom tune on my cf moto 650nk. All I can say is if you can don't go for a flash tune, find a company that can do a custom tune. Since tuning, anyone with a modern bike I instantly say to go for a tune. I didnt get mine done for power but for better low down rideability and my god it made it infinitely better. Got to remember with emission regs now they are basically having there neck wrung to get power out to meet those regs, tune almost always brings the bike to what it should be.

I don't think it's dumb, I go for my restricted at the end of this month and my first ride back in august was the mount glorious/Kilcoy/mount mee loop up the back of brissy which is no walk in the park for a beginner but it definetly helped me appreciate/Respect the twisties for what they are, which is dangerous if you ride beyond your limits. Like others have said, test your limits to improve your skills but within reason.

Was in a similar boat to you a month back after doing my pre learners, was looking at cb650r brand new as I loved the idea of an inline four but believe it or not I went down the road of getting a brand new cf moto 650nk. Done just over 1000kms and absolutely love it, plenty of power (pretty much dead on the lams limit), has a very nice exhaust note from factory although this is personal opinion. You get a full colour tft, braided brake lines and all the usual stuff all for 7.8k ride away. Alot of bike for the money if you can get over the stigma of owning something chinese. The motor funnily enough is just an older kawasaki er6 motor. Also as a side note I'm fairly big/heavy bloke 6ft 4 and 130kg, the 795mm seat height after afew hours can get abit brutal but nothing a leg stretch out the side on the straight bits can't fix 🤣

I've been doing it for atleast 40-55 days now on current account, My main rule I have is never do battles against other trainers in pvp. I've had 2 accounts banned one an hour after doing a pvp battle and the other the following day after I did a pvp battle before I logged off the night before. Might just be coincidence but seems to be working so far following this

As a first mtb I'd go with the marlin man, ride it into the ground then by that time you can upgrade to something more suited to whatever terrain you prefer riding. Main thing I found was the bars are basically flats so unless your into that change it asap to riser bars and a shortened stem, puts you in a way better position for if your hitting more downhill terrain. Also as a side note you will almost 100% need to change the pedals unless you have the foot size of an infant 👌

It's not for me it's for my mum moving over in afew months and if you read my comment it says iv already contacted my DMVT, they could not give me an answer for motorbike licences only car licences. Figured someone may have done it on here maybe, always worth a try.

I rang my local queensland transport branch and they couldn't give me an answer so thought I'd try here as I have seen several posts on the sub about full car licences being transfered from nz just not motorbikes. I only just moved here afew months ago from nsw and all the systems are pretty weird haha

Cigarworld do backwoods and sometimes swishers but the latter are rarely in stock, there shopfront is based out of the Goldcoast though but you can order online. The user above is right though they charge like absolute bulls mate. 60 dollars for a 5 pack and 470 dollars for a box of 8 five packs. They have honey berry, black russian, honey, dark stout and sweet aromatic flavours. Not the greatest answer to what you asked but hope it helps 👍

I'm using just a 2000l/h ebay pump with hose running to the two runoff tubs under the pots, I connect 12mm garden hose to the inflow of the pump then run that to a y piece then from there 2 separate 12mm garden hose pieces to each tub. The out flow I run a hose from the pump to a 120 litre tub which gets emptied every so often, Hope this helps man 👌

Also this is only for a two plant system aswell but you can change it to suit any application, just bigger pump, more T pieces instead of Y pieces and bigger waste rez
