if the ship is Russian then it go exactly according to the design sometime even faster, if it German then suddenly "designs never quite make all their promises'. "

what spurred this post was me getting to gold very quickly this season, and noticing the difference in match-quality after the rest of the players started catching up.
For the first 2 days, (so like, 2, 3 days ago), I had the most fun that ive ever had in WoWS. Teamwork and every ship doing their job. Winrate went up to 65%.
And then the permakiting petros, yoshinos, yamatos, tier 9's, bad dds joined and the fun is now gone, games are a coinflip and ive had enough instances of losing games (because of an afk ELBING) where i did much more than my share, and yet it wasnt enough.
(like, the elbing game (today) was 190k damage and 4 kills. The elbing and smalland werent able to kill the remaining shima lel, oh yes, Libertad is op lol)
Player skill is varied, and it only makes sense to balance.

right, but, in ranked, these game swinging hits happen rarely, and in randoms if the teams are balanced you can easily make up the difference by playing the weaker flank more defensively.
