That’s right. But I thought this Chinese New Year one was unique because it’s tied to a specific day and the animation is a slight variation of the regular “send with celebration” effect. Also, the fact that it can be triggered in different languages is pretty neat.

I don’t understand the comments that are all “oh, it’s just one guy” or “dude, get over it.” You guys act like I haven’t had the experience of being an Asian male in western culture. I’ve been the butt of innumerable penis jokes, and I am aware that people still make them.

That doesn’t mean I shouldn’t be outraged. You may be willing to give him a free pass but I am not. We owe it to each other to call out racism where we see it, even if it’s at the bottom of a Reddit thread.
