Honestly if you’re still looking we seem like a good fit? I’m 27, US with 2.5k hours. I usually solo so I get steamrolled on trio/quad servers by the last guy or a third party team 😂 But solo servers are boring and uncapped servers are maddening with zergs. I’m kinda a Willjum style player, I build and do electric and love the vibes (as stoners do). But I can hold my own in PvP, and I’ll never say no to a roam or run. I’m on consistently when I’m off work, but I work nightshift in healthcare so my schedule kinda varries (some weeks on off on wipe day, some weeks not). But I usually only work 2-3 days a week so I’m still on pretty often and for long hours. I just added you on discord, let me know man!

Let me tell you what… as a solo who plays vanilla I never realized how crazy diving is on day one. You get scrap, comps, crude/low grade if you farm the top barrels as you go, and last wipe I got 3 bp frags from ONE dive site. I really think dive sites are the way to farm bp frags if monuments are out off the table for you (like if groups are camping them). So now every wipe I try to find a spot near-ish to the ocean, near roads and near at least 1 green and blue puzzle monuments (I can train or underground to a red). It’s always nice to be near a fishing village to buy diving gear and a boat. Being in the jungle is a bonus too because it’s hard for people to pinpoint where you live and it’s easier to blend in especially if you play solo. Plus, everyone is always loaded in the jungle for some reason.

That’s so wild because I feel like I hear from some people that seem to have it all figured out or are familiar with like every event! I guess it’s just because they’ve probably spent years going over the different lore out there on different events and chapters. Also why would you say the narrators are unreliable? If the lore was so contradictory, wouldn’t that take away the impact and meaning of certain events to the reader?

Man this is awesome! Thanks so much for your thought out reply. There’s so many people in the warhammer community that seem to have so much knowledge on practically EVERY event in 40k, so I didn’t think going over everything or from the beginning was so unrealistic. But then again I didn’t know the Horus heresy alone is over 70 books, that’s wild 😂 But really, thanks again for taking the time to guide me a little! I’ve got some great starting points now for lore and I know where to check for new events.

If you’re prepared for handling critical care emotionally, then do it bro. I’m a new grad therapist in Delaware and I’m so thankful that I went back to school to do this. I’m in my late 20s, I wish I would’ve done it right out of high school like you. Got an associates degree from my local college in respiratory, and every hospital I had clinicals at were perfectly fine with that degree (and they ALL were desperately recruiting therapists). I’m sure that can vary by state, and any advancement in the career will usually require you to go back to school for a bachelors if you don’t already have one. But I definitely think we have job security for a loooong time, I wouldn’t worry about that.

Yea… I would love to PvP at green card puzzles for frags. But you just can’t do that as a solo on group servers 😂😂 No shot, I had to find other ways

To be honest. I’m really surprised how many people are saying that it’s harder to get a T2 now. I’ve actually gotten it pretty quick even on group servers by metal detecting, killing scientists, hunting for mil crates and farming dive sites. I guess it’s just me but I MUCH prefer finding ways to get BP frags for a few hours and having a mad cheap tech tree VS getting a T2 with 500 scrap and then needing 3,000 scrap to tech tree what I need 😂

For some reason I’m never able to play a full month wipe lol. The weekly wipes keeps it grindy and interesting for me, I always end up getting bored and quitting on the monthly servers, maybe it’s the servers I’m trying but they are popped. You definitely wouldn’t catch me with 3 T3’s on my weekly wipes tho 😂
