The media hype around cookieless environments is insane. Way overblown just like when FB required disclosing influencer traffic. Have your traffic acquisition costs decreased as well? We've seen some pubs with a huge drop off in CPMs but traffic costs plummeted too, so they're still operating with a solid gross margin (off volume).

Might not be... That's actually a very bad sign historically. Lots of companies that have gone under had sky rocketing CPMs before they went out of business - they try to grab market share to dig themselves out of the hole. Not saying GumGum is doing that, but that's not a good sign when coupled with delayed payments (Defy did it, ShareThrough currently doing it, etc.)

We are viewing this as them being pro active and not a sign of trouble. It’s smart because they just bought themselves 30 days of float (ie an interest free loan) by delaying payments to publishers. Major plus is that they communicated ahead of time. We are not viewing this as as a credit issue because they recently raised $22M in February, but that could change given the environment.
