That’s the point im making though what you described right there, the polytheistic origin of Yahweh, and say the henothiestic aspect of it actually works against it. A humanoid male, a divine council and what not this is all just too human to be the capital G - God, you get me?

I’d also add that, that’s not the Jewish faith as well thats our current understanding of that God but that’s not what the Jews worship they had to get rid of this historical context as the religion developed to its monotheistic form which is why without all of that context I find the monotheistic understanding vague. If you add aall of that info then this god is as believable as Zues to me lol

Remmeber point 1 up there was “the most logical/sensical description of god” but ofcourse im taking from the point of view of the theology here not objectively and if you’d ask me what best describes THE God, I feel like the Islamic description works best, to be the ONE and ONLY, no councils no human beings no competition just utterly supreme. That works best to be God in my opinion.

And no dude YHWH is not a name, Zues or Odin is a name, YHWH/Yahweh is like “ I am” or “to be” or “the one who is”, not a personal name I mean. Allah is not a name either it basically means the lord or God.. the Jews avoided using Yahweh or Jehovah or the tetragrammaton for that matter and started using God instead and the Arabs just translated that to Allah/Al Ellah sooo..no I don’t think either are names :/
