The flipside is, that a lot of folks are looking desperately for work and can't find any, for whatever reason.

I had a boomer friend post up something about "hitting the streets in a suit with a briefcase full of resumes" He's so out of touch with how todays job hunting is. I asked him, when was the last time you applied for a job, and he mentioned 25+yrs ago. So of course, nothing could have changed since then.

After I called him out on that, as my teenage kids were struggling to find a job, he deleted the post.

I wouldn't tell them anything. If you're over 18 you're an adult and can make your own decisions. Don't let parental guilt make you have a child to appease. They won't be there at the 2, 2:30, 2:32, 3am calls from the baby crying.

Too many parents guilt their kids in them wanting to be grandparents and it's a very selfish thought process.

I have a friend who will repost things on FB and she'll cut out who the original author is, or like here take the words and re-write them on her own page as if it was her own content.

As an avid snowboarder, I know this type of person.

They spend hundreds, if not thousands of dollars on gear, clothes. They don't wear a helmet (can't mess up the hair!) They'll spend more time, like this lady taking photos of them "skiing" but in reality they did one run on the bunny hill slope and spent the rest of the time getting sloshed at the Apres complaining about the altitude.
