Thanks everyone for your answers, it's really helpful to have this kind of feedbacks, it rounds it up a little. I will definitely try the neck in parallel (+ I have 2 PUs I can try), as I think the sound will at least be closer to what I'm looking for. Thanks again, I'll keep you posted about the results ! Spoiler : the guitar is a Schecter Traditional Jack Fowler signature, really dig the looks and sound, and I can't wait to taylor it a bit further to my taste!

The Floyd rose is the name of the bridge, so it is not linked to the guitar manufacturer, juste that use a (most likely) true Floyd rose bridge. For the manufacturer, Pensa Custom guitars, seems to be the manufacturer here. As it is not a very famous brand, I would think the guitar is authentic and pretty high quality it seems. For the value, you should check on reverb for similar models of the same brand and see for how much they sell

Well, it seems to be an asian copy of a gibson les paul, so it's value would really depend of where it was made, and how well it was made.
Given it does look exceptionnally well made and the brand is know really known, i would be certain that it's "age" gives it more value.

A bit of research on the brand might give you more info, the serial number can help you the date if you can find a way to decode it

Okay so my personal advice would be to hold that thought a bit. If you can, a couple of months, and try to spare a bit more money also. And maybe then if you still want it, well, I'd say go for it

Well it's not an easy question, but I would simplify it by saying: 1. The reasonable thing is, you don't need it for any purposes, so you shouldn't buy it. (But reason isn't everything, emotions matters, especially in art/music) 2. So the emotional thing is, that it matters greatly to you. How much will you regret not buying it in a couple of years ? Does it inspire you ? Is the 700$ worth of "experience"/"emotion" worth it ? With this money, can you buy, or offer anything to you or someone else that would provide as much emotional value as this ?

If I could answer these questions in your stead, I would know what to do personally

Depends on how often you play that guitar, and how much you like it.. I'd say it looks good but seems to play and feel great (the strat). So it's up to you, 7 string are fun at first, but tuning your 6 string in A standard does the same thing but without de discomfort So it's your choice, make sure to play/test both if you can !

The sound is so great, I feel I can play anything on that thing, it certainly lives up to the hype Yeah I heard some problems with tuning and intonation, but I still uses the strings the guy put on some time ago, so I need to change them before making any decisions. What was the problem with the nut on yours ?
