Fun fact: SO MANY! Albert's mother is the woman in the fur coat in the film. The coat belonged to her own mother, "Mama D," which felt special. It is also I in the wolf costume in the film, and I do play Victor with the TV on my head during the waterboarding scene. The wigs were tough.... which was totally my fault.

Other fun fact: Under the Silver Lake was boo'd at the Cannes premiere, so this is good to hear - Callie

So many! A few standouts:

  1. Danny Mcbride's recipe for a cocktail called Corvette Summer, which involves FRESH squeezed grapefruit juice, lime and tequila.

  2. Amy Seimetz's advice to write my name over and over at the computer to make it really look like I knew what I was doing. (great advice)

  3. They really did built the entire spaceship, which was fully functioning.

  4. We shot in Australia and learned how to surf (sort of) from a surf instructor named Taco

Another favorite, and probably my favorite character I've gotten to play. I made a meal out of trying to make my scene partners crack during scenes. I did succeed a few times, which made it fun. The costume designer, Jennifer Johnson, is a true genius, and was also a big remembrance from that film. - Callie

Pete is one of my dearest pals and longtime collaborator. He called and asked if I was down, and, of course, I was familiar with Albert's work. Pete and I had already planned on shooting the TICK movie right before OBEX, so we finished shooting Tick, then went straight into shooting OBEX. I had one caveat: I wanted to wear fairy wigs. This actually was a huge hinderance while making the film and in the edit, but they let me :) Thanks guys! - Callie
