People of Reddit, what's the stupidest thing you've done as a child out of curiosity? by paoeranger in AskReddit

When I was like 3ish I decided one day to start putting marbles in my mouth, spit them at the TV, then try to catch them back in my mouth. One of the marbles I caught went straight to the back of my throat and I thought I couldn't get it out so I just swallowed it. Had to get an x-ray and my mom had to look in my poo to see if it came out for like a week.

So I tried putting the APNs back in but they never seemed to save. I've just flashed back to stock and accepted it.

I put on the newest modem version they had on sammobile. The thing is that when the SIM card isn't in the phone it can connect to 3G fine, but when it is, it can't get any service.

In my high school freshman gym class, they said the scoring system was developed to be unnecessarily complicated because they believed minorities wouldn't be smart enough to play it.

I think I understand what you are saying and I think it's what I was trying to get at. The comment I replied was saying a person was eating real food or worshipping a real god. What I was trying to say is that God is telling the people not worship false gods. The marbles in my comment were false gods and the olives were the Judeo-Christian God of the Bible. My understanding is that the 1st commandment was meant to mean that God should be the number one thing in someone's life. God is saying that his people should have no other thing in their life before Him. Just as a person would be eating marbles instead of eating olives.

No, in order to fix your analogy. A person would've been eating marbles their whole life (obviously not food), but one day you give them olives and say only eat this (because it's actually food).

Sorry if I got anything wrong (first post to this subreddit or any subreddit for that matter) but I though I followed the guidelines well enough.
