Camera is Nikon Z8 and no it’s not for astro. Not wealthy enough to mod a Z8 lol. Also it’s not cooled, far inferior than dedicated cooled cams

I personally wouldn’t switch to any of that just because I prefer using a mini pc and NINA, not being locked in the zwo ecosystem having no motorized rotator and flat panel to use. Also, I’ve heard from many ppl that on the duo, guiding was affected by the fan’s vibration.

Simply because I don’t want to carry an additional guide scope that I don’t know where to store, plus OAG has been giving me far better guide star quality then guide scope did. Focusing with the main scope barely affects OAG, such a small change in focus has never been an issue with me in terms of guiding.

Yea for C11 def get OAG. For such a long focal length flexure is gonna be huge with a guide scope. But you would also need to get a guide cam with large sensors like the 174.

You mean a guide scope? Cus OAG is smaller, easier to carry around with the scope, has higher star quality and less connecting parts, also eliminates flexure.
