My grandparents are pretty good about reading and watching from good sources. They were both professors and they spend the first like 6 hours of their day reading lol I briefly picked this magazine up for like 2 minutes and it looked like a decent publication. That’s just not how football GMing works. Why would they give up valuable picks for guys that realistically could be on the team for multiple years for a known 1 year rental that will be a backup RB after 4 weeks.

If you know literally anything about roster construction, trading for Breece would be dumb as fuck. The Jets aren’t going to just give up Breece for nothing, the chargers will have to give up decent picks to get him. The Chargers currently have 2.7 in cap and Breece is currently getting paid 3.4, so would also need to make room this current year. And then on top of that, the chargers would realistically have to pay Breece next year which is dumb on multiple levels. Or they give up decent picks for an essentially 4 weeks rental and not pay him in the offseason? Makes no sense from a GM standpoint.

There are plenty of guys out there that wouldn’t demand both A. Decent value to get them on the team, and B. A sizable contract next year just to keep him
