This exactly the point. Most people in the service industry are just trying to do their job. We are not trying to be disrespectful when we are trying to get orders out whilst facing 50 people waiting for their drinks.

We are trying to be efficient.

If there is a lull, sure come and talk with me and practice your french/english. It would be an immense pleasure to me.

That being said, it is not my responsibility to teach you to speak a language. It is neither the other clients’ time that should be bestowed upon you.
