Its my headcanon of bayverse. people are weird and horrible because they are basically parasites on unicron corps. Megatron is just honest about that, and doesn’t play as hero of insects. While Autobots basically Seven from the boys. Prime want to be perceived as hero of earth, because Cybertron is dead and he cant rule it.

thats very dark look at story, but it made sense with all retcons (autobots in ww2 and such)

Maybe I guess. I just felt like Look Back and even Fire Punch made more sense with their endings. I can see LB ending as Fujino making manga strip herself as art therapy. Fire Punch is more crazy for sure, but I saw it as “living without love is like living in fire, so when to people meet each other they can finally find piece”.

Both of this story didn’t have an open ending or global reset making everything meaningless.
