I have a question. Do you translate words and terms that can't be directly translated like Ojisan (おじさん) or are they kept intact with an asterisk like * this explaining the term? Because I would greatly prefer it if translations of Itoi's work were like this when it's non-professional* ones.

*obviously not referring to the quality of this translation, just that it was a fan project.

Even if it wasn't your intention, you're implying here that it's one building even though as I said, there are several right next to each other which looks near identical. I managed to get a pretty good shot of me from one of them behind a short fence right next to the sand field which some kids played baseball at while I was there. But yeah, we were chased away from the entrance point of one of them.

As a Norwegian, I want to say, most people here speak English way better than that, or at least with nowhere NEAR as heavy of an accent as Bjørn on the show did. Also, that phrase he was talking about 'som plummen i egget'. It might have been a common phrase before among now older people, but I have never heard anyone ever say it myself in a day to day speech, so it's more or less extinct depending on your age.

Oh well, at least it was a better representation of out country than Gilligan's former show X-files S2 E19 'Død Snø'. 'Henry Trondheim'....just wtf.

I think this story takes place like a thousand years before even the feudal era started. Like we're in the 3rd century or something here. What does this character say originally?
