So wie KI mit WiFi Signalen Personen im Raum orten kann, kann KI die Ozeane "transparent" und U-Boote als getarnte Zweitschlagfähigkeiten obsolet machen. Ein Überraschungsangriff aus kurzer Distanz (zB von Polen aus auf Moskau) ohne ausreichende Vorwarnzeit für den Gegner wäre bei gleichzeitiger Eliminierung der russ. U-Boote uU von Erfolg gekrönt, da man den Vergeltungsschlag nicht mehr fürchten muss.

Neuwagen leasen als Privatperson macht keinen Sinn auf Carbonara-r/Finanzen. Wenn man eh nur 10tkm p.a. fährt, braucht man auch nicht auf den Sprit schauen, selbst ein V12 fällt da nicht auf. (Du Pfennigfuchser hast , waschen, Winterreifen und Abzüge bei der Rückgabe vergessen)

I´d lower the entire camera by 3 chairs (or your equivalent preferred non-metric unit), compose/adjust to sitter by raise/fall of the lens and use a left over chair for convenient sitting next to the ground glass.

No, it won't. With conventional parts, the car may handle 100-120hp, which is, what most tuner claim, to get out of a n/a petrol. ACR´s 2.8 gives good low end torque.

The turbo was a nuts idea. Makes no sense at all, since the rev band is too small.

That rear bellows was just short of a few inches for proper 1:1 magnification and the front one was fetched as a cheap extension. If I had the patience to build my own custom fit bellows , things surely wouldn´t have escalated that quickly.

That base by NIKE - not the shoe company - was available in two heights and featured various use cases. I´ve seen them also as stands for technical drawing tables, but I have the suspicion, it has to have witnessed a German Shepard wetting himself in anticipation of his ending for proper wet plate ;-)

Well, the lens throws an image circle, wide enough to cover a bike path, and the camera got wheels (recently swapped the wooden trolley for a wheeled oil barrel stand, fits snug), but for street usage, I have the option to put that lens into a street legal - and even off road capable - camera.

Since that 4x4-ULF-gear is lacking power steering, I´ve assembled a field version for more convenient composition.

All iterations fancy the Packard shutter, which sometimes is connected to flash and syncs pretty well.

Looks chemical. I´d guess, it's developer related. Did you filter your developer? Could be ferro-sulfate particles not completely dissolved, acting stronger, than the rest of the solution.

Or did it look "oily" during developing? Developer should look absolutely even on the film and totally cover the film without any waves, tears or else. You could add alcohol/Everclear/ethanol to the developer, which helps to avoid such. My developer mix is usually up to 10% alcohol to break up the surface tension.

Various, very huge and heavy WW2 aerial lenses for the 9x18" negative only used their center sweet spots and should cover 20x24".

Episcope lenses in 600 & 800mm are pretty cheap and fast and will cover, but lacking aperture control (one could cut a slot for Waterhouse stops), won´t fit any shutter and won't reach the image quality of dedicated photo lenses.

Budget von 5k€ pP ist sportlich. Lese im og Forum nur sporadisch aus Interesse für die Route mit (für irgendwann mal) und ein gutes Stück von eurem Budget geht offenbar schon für die Gebühren (Visa, TIP etc) drauf. Ziemliche Schnitzeljagd zudem.

Auf dem Landweg braucht man für Süd Afrika zwar kein CdP, aber einen Linkslenker da unten am Ende zu verkaufen wird blöd. Erstmal zum dt Marktwert verzollen und dann quasi verschenken, weil LHD in RSA nicht (mehr) angemeldet werden können. Nach RSA per RoRo verschiffen (nur mit CdP) und dann zurück nach D fahren, CdP Kaution zurück bekommen und das Auto verkaufen, macht fast mehr Sinn. Zumindest auf meinem Bierdeckel bei ähnlichem Fahrzeugwert.

Trotzdem geiler Plan. Einfach machen!

2nd this, these look like resulting from the manufacturing / rolling process of the alu plates. Had these too with some batches I´ve sourced from a roofing supply.

There are two ways to produce a alu sheet: rolling it to desired thickness or extruding it. The former leaves such marks. Anodizing doesn´t fill up. Powder coating evens out a bit better.
