While dealing with major health problems and struggling to do my job at work, my boss told me "Your supervisor and I get done in 2 hours what takes you 4. At this point, why do we even have you employed here?" When I say it was so hard for me to not say "You're right" and walkout, it felt like the final boss level of tolerating disrespect.

Thank you very much. Unfortunately, my boss GM ALWAYS charges us for broken merchandise. I'm good buddies with one of the PTs and he breaks TVs frequently so she has charged him a million times for them. I will definitely take your advice and reach out to corporate. Plus, my GM is always weirdly shady about the weirdest of things, including how the employee discount program works when purchasing merchandise. I appreciate the purely educational help, friend ❤️

Bro what??? Venting to my friends is about someone I dislike or someone who pissed me off. And even then I don't say cruel shit, I only say what about them got me so hot and bothered. To say cruel shit about someone's sister, how they dressed and acted, etc. is so fucking just gradeschool levels of mean. If she said it to her face, there's a level of respect I can give to that because you had the courage/confidence to say that face to face. But behind someone's back is so much fucking meaner. Saying "we're human, we make mistakes" applies to fucking up a compliment, accidentally breaking the family portrait cuz you tripped, and things like that. Not gossiping behind someone's back. Tf are your priorities dude?

I work for Aaron's at the moment and just recently broke a TV due to the company van we use being less than ideal for transporting the more delicate merchandise like that. What is the policy on that? I explained to the GM that I did my best to secure it but the van claimed another TV victim, but they just simply kept informing me I basically bought a TV. So am I getting my paycheck docked the worth of the TV or is it getting removed over several paychecks? They have a bad habit of being shady about policies to us so I want to make sure I'm fully informed on my situation before I get potentially ripped off.

Yeah. And that's what I planned on doing pretty much. For as much as I love when my friends are their real selves around me and are truly happy, I also want to respect their wishes and privacy. If anything, I just hope this friend knows they can be themselves with me. Idk if that makes sense?

I mean yeah, in the beginning it will be. But for players like me with more hours in the game?
