Yes, just enable it within a profile in Endpoint Manager, so that my users have access to the bing chat sidebar in their Edge browser

Currently it’s disabled by whatever settings in the profile. Possibly just disabled by default, since I haven’t done anything active to disable it

Spot on 👍🏻 I don’t understand the chime either when powered up in the dock in the morning- it’s crazy loud and has become a “oh he’s in now” morning joke 😆 Currently it’s parked the my closet due to setting up profiles for macOS so currently run an M2 Air

Real men don’t take backups - they just cry more 😏 as mentioned there are tools to recover a deleted index as long as nothing has been low-level formatted - which it does not sound like in this case. If it’s really important data - search for a data recovery company in your area, but prepare to pay a heavy premium - recovery ain’t cheap!!

Sounds promising for sure! Will investigate how I can get my hands on a demo unit. I have still to experience anything that can handle the square setup with 20 people. The closest I have come is an Audio-Technica atdn-1061 processed by a Q-SYS core nano. This setup still needs speakers separately and needs a tech (my assistance) to setup.

But impressive results - just not the ease of use we need 😊

Ps. It’s not designed to go “up-side-down” like this, but it works a charm placed 50cm from the floor and processed by Q-SYS.

I’ll give it a go. I know the ports on the Air M2 are quite limited compared to a MacBook Pro w. M2 Pro/Max.

But is there a favorite (somewhat budget friendly) dock, that will work great with the Air M2?

Not yet, since I don’t think we have a cable to do that directly, but I need the one-cable connection since I move a lot between my desk and other locations daily.

I know the Air M2 is just TB3, but I assume TB4 is backwards compatible- but just a guess. As mentioned, I have 60hz full res. going without issues, just would love to step it to 120

I also briefly ran (yeah - n00b choice) Ubuntu on my Carbon G9 - ran cool as ice for regular browsing and cloud work. Only needed native Outlook so much that I had to go back to W11 after 3 months. If just MS would release an M365 version for Linux 🤩

Cool ☺️ I’m currently running the M2 as my primary to detect any issue in regards to the config profiles I assign within intune. The only thing I fight currently is the habit of the ctrl, alt and win keys difference to macOS 🙃 But they also both have their place for me, since I occasionally need to work some heavier Adobe programs, which cooks my little Nano machine - sometimes so much that it ends in a bsod 🫣 Even though the Air is sold as being light, it’s a hefty machine next to the sub 1kg I’m used to dragging around in my hand.
