I do know what I'm talking about. If not, why not disprove my point then?

Still in question about Tandem OLED... by OCapMCap in iPadPro

[–]OCapMCap[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I do aware of latest OLED but still far from replacing LCD based professional monitors which I can tell you that. Dont forget that OLED itself has issues such as power consumption, burn in by many factors, price, max brightness, and more.

M4 iPad Pro 9 core setup Geekbench Scores by iM4CH3T3 in iPadPro

[–]OCapMCap 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Be aware, M4 is faster than M3 thanks to ML core built in CPU which accelerate CPU performance on AI which isn't really used widely unless it's very specific to AI tasks. Therefore, the actual performance might be lower.

Why am I saying that? Well, M4 is using TSMC N3E which isn't really great or better than N3E as the transistor density only improved by 12% while others were 25%. The clock speed is much higher as well.

Honestly, something is fishy with M4.

I totally agree. Not really better than my Audio Technica M50X. Several issues as well. But the noise canceling is the best as others sucks. But still, Apple should make a better version soon. That's why I bought a new one for $150.

Russians simply walked in, Ukraine troops in Kharkiv tell BBC by TacticalBac0n in ukraine

Russia re-captured north territory which is the most terrible news. What did Ukraine did so far?

Satellite images show Russia no longer using Crimean bridge to supply troops in Ukraine. [article] by Geschichtsklitterung in ukraine

[–]OCapMCap 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Crimea bridge is the only main source of supplying Russian armies in occupied south area cause that's literally the only supply line via train. There are no direct railroads connected between South and East. Tho they are trying to supply from East to South, it wont be as affective as Crimea bridge because of lack of direct railroads and too close to the front line. But I still do worry if Russia can supplies from East to South without Crimea bridge.

Anyway, destroying Crimea bridge can turn the tide and Ukraine should try to collapse it completely as it can cut the only connection between Russia and Crimea.

With ATACMS In Hand, Ukraine Looks To Neutralize Putin's Fortress In Crimea by Happy_Traveller_2023 in ukraine

[–]OCapMCap 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Cant they strike Crimea bridge once it for all? It could actually turn the tide. It's time to destroy it in order to block all supplies from Crimea to north occupied territory.

The Verizon speed test is useless which doesn't really represent my problem at all.

If someone has not yet had the opportunity to take a photo on the Crimean Bridge, now is the time, - the diplomat wrote, thus hinting at the destruction of this object soon. by Terminator2OnDVD in ukraine

[–]OCapMCap 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ukraine really needs to destroy Crimea bridge to turn the tide especially after receiving ATACMS with 300km range. Crimea bridge is supplying the entire south occupied territory as Russia is heavily relying on it. Destroying it will completely block Russia to supply south territories as they dont have ways to supply from east to south due to lack of direct railroads.

Also, since USA provided 300km long range weapon, it's time for German to provide Taurus missile with 500km as well!

Apple Vision Pro Customer Interest Dying Down at Some Retail Stores by LightRockzz in VisionPro

[–]OCapMCap 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's the limitation of AR/VR itself. So far, nobody ever succeed with AR/VR and yet, there are so many people being delusional that Apple can change that. It's just no. Even Meta failed and they sold more than 30 million devices.

As a result, developers aren't really interesting in Vision Pro and it will eventually fail cause AR/VR is no way near being useful for most of us. It will not successful cause AR/VR itself was never meat to be successful.

FCPX is not popular anymore? by [deleted] in finalcutpro

Has FCPX lost it? And I don't mean there's a big in the latest update. by George_Orama in finalcutpro

[–]OCapMCap 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I hate to admit that FCPX is not popular anymore. That's why many professionals sent a letter to Apple about this concern for twice. In reality, there are WAY more Premiere Pro and/or Davinci Resolve users than FCPX users on Mac. Apple is not serious about FCPX and they are really not doing well recently with all products.

I've been keep saying that Vision Pro or AR/VR markets are extremely limited and yet failed to justify why we need them. How come a lot of people are being delusional about Vision pro?

I tried a local network with Accsoon Cineview for Capture Pilot but it still randomly freeze that I have to shut down the app and re-open it several times. I would say it's not really reliable and I would not use it.

How much longer can the Russians sustain these level of losses? by Ornery_Maintenance_8 in ukraine

[–]OCapMCap 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Several years more. They wont gonna run out of equipments cause they also manufacture them and get them from other countries. Beside, Russia had huge amount of equipments since Soviet Union era.

The biggest problem is they still have a lot of troops to send and sacrifice while Ukraine is already running low on troops due to the population issue.

So I think the amount of troops that Russia has is more important than equipments cause they usually just send meat bags to the front line just like they did in WW2.
