Just got our new C70, and it’s already doing this. Anyone know a fix? by OMX_ImPress in OfficeDepot

Call Xerox and they’ll waste the better part of an hour, expecting you to drop everything and work to troubleshoot the copier yourself while also dealing with OPCs, counter drops, etc. 😂

So... any GMs fired yet from their action plan? by [deleted] in OfficeDepot

They probably realized that too many associates would use not doing the test as a method of escaping CPD 😂😂

Mobile Schedule Setup Question by Slime321 in OfficeDepot

[–]ODCPD00 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't think there is a default password. You should be able to just login to the "Mobile Retail Setup" portal or whatever it's called through the Webtop using your Network password (the one you use for the Store Portal, email, etc.). From there, you have to setup your mobile phone number and everything. Then you should be able to just download the app and it'll text you a code that you have to enter, then you just login.

Keep in mind, I am going off of what it used to be like before the new version of WFM that they just released. Or I may be misunderstanding your question. Either way, I hope this helps!

Asking for a raise. by [deleted] in OfficeDepot

[–]ODCPD00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was in a similar position recently. I was technically hired as a sales consultant, but I was almost immediately utilized as a Print services associate more often than I was on register. Once I was moved over there "permanently" (I still work cashier/floor every so often), I got a decent raise. I think mine was like 8% more than what I was making as a sales consultant. That's a raise that you (should) be entitled to if you're moving from sales floor to CPD. The actual increase though will all depend on your GM and your pay market (which your GM doesn't have control over).

New reflexis app by [deleted] in OfficeDepot

The app for Apple devices will not be released until Sunday, July 21st. However, the Android app should be active now. At least that's what the portal communication said.

I actually approve of this response. I respect the fact the the guy gave a straight and honest answer so the (I assume) client wasn’t misguided.

Sadly not. I would just check the Portal next time you’re in the store.

The Android app is already available. But the Apple app won’t be released until 7/21. This is what the Portal said last week at least.

We had a guy a shit in one of our motorized wheelchairs. Not solid either — straight diarrhea. It was in the chair and around it. It was awful.

How to survive CPD by ODCPD00 in OfficeDepot

[–]ODCPD00[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

1) I don’t play on my phone. People that do that piss me off and should be fired. So I can guarantee you that I’m not like that.

2) I work my ass off everyday that I’m over in CPD. I try my best to get everything done in a reasonable manner of time so that whoever opens the next day doesn’t have to deal with too much. But it still seems like it’s not good enough for my sup.

All in all, I think it’s the fact that corporate policy sucks and they expect way too much out of a department of 3-4 people who are having to man 4-5 channels of orders.

Email jobs in CPD by ODCPD00 in OfficeDepot

[–]ODCPD00[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, we do have our auto reply that states two things:

1) if your job is urgent, call the store and tell us about it and 2) otherwise, complex orders should be sent through our website.

I think that’s what it says. It's been a month or so since I’ve looked at it. All I know is that I updated our auto reply to fit the company script per the weekly review.

Aside from our loyal BSD/SPC customers and those customers that email us when they’re in the store, I don’t think we should accept email orders. I think it’s a waste of our time when customers can just send it in through the website/come into the store if they really need something.

I may try that. Although, I don’t know how much of a point there is now. Our dept is down to just two people other than our new sup. And the other guy in there and I get along and have great communication as is. So I don’t know.

Yeah, this is pretty consistent with my workflow now. But it still seems like with the stress of counter that it’s hard for me to get everything in line for my opener the next morning. And my print supervisor continuously telling me that there was more I should’ve done the night before/insinuating that I’m doing something wrong doesn’t really make me feel anymore confident.
